By purchasing a good immigration book before starting the entire immigration process, you can save yourself and your family a lot of wasted time, money and headaches. A good immigration attorney is priceless, immigration software can help, but if you really have no idea about the overall process and what to expect, you are setting yourself up for a long and gruesome road. An immigration book can give you a good bird's eye view of the procedure, what's needed and where to find a good attorney. The time and small amount of money spent educating yourself on the process will seem like the smartest money you've spent.

There are so many people from other countries who want to come and live in the United States, but in most cases they do not know where to begin. There are many available options and many ways to go about immigrating to the U.S., but first you have to know what these options are.



Many individuals try to contact family members hoping they will be able to help. In many cases they can. Especially if they are immediate family members. Even if they are not, they may still be able to give good advice since they have probably already gone through the immigration process themselves and know some of the ins and outs. If you have a computer available for your use, you can go to the internet and easily find an immigration book that would best suit your particular need. There are even large paperback editions that have all the forms you need included that you can just tear out of the book. Each form will give you detailed instructions on what the form is for and if you have to have documents from the country you were born in to accompany them. You will definitely need important documents like birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce papers, police report, and a number of other things. The book will tell you exactly what you need, where to get it, and where to send it.

If you do not have a computer at your disposal, you might want to visit a local book store, or if you are in a large city, one of the chain book stores. Immigration is a popular subject and all of the large chains will have a selection, and if the corner book store in your small town does not have one, they can order it for you. If you do not read English and have no one to help you, it is very possible they can order you one in your mother language.
